How Are People Really Experiencing AI? - Please Share It!
A 35Qs strong Online Survey on different languages inside. Runs till 01/06/2025.
Artificial intelligence is no longer an abstract concept or a distant future.
It is already embedded in everyday life — at work, online, in education, in creative tools, and in decision-making systems that affect real people.
Yet most public discussion about AI happens without listening to those living with it.
This short, anonymous survey exists to change that. See the links at the bottom of this text.
What this survey is about
The survey explores how people experience AI in their daily routines, working lives, and social environments.
It asks:
how often people interact with AI,
how well they feel they understand its real capabilities,
and how confident they are in recognising AI-generated content.
It also looks at emotional and social responses to rapid AI development — including uncertainty, excitement, pressure to adapt, and trust (or lack of it) in the institutions deploying these technologies.
Beyond tools and workflows, the survey touches on deeper questions:
how AI may affect jobs, identity, and future livelihoods,
what barriers people face when it comes to skills or reskilling,
and who they believe is currently benefiting most from AI.
Fairness, time, and human values
The final part of the survey invites reflection on fairness and policy, without requiring technical or political expertise.
Participants are asked to consider:
how productivity gains from AI should be shared,
attitudes toward reduced working hours or basic income,
and which human values should be protected as AI becomes more influential in society.
There are no correct answers. Only lived perspectives.
Why this matters
Technological change is often presented as inevitable and neutral.
In reality, it reshapes power, time, dignity, and opportunity — sometimes quietly, sometimes unevenly.
Understanding how people actually experience AI is essential if decisions about its use are not to be made solely by corporations, governments, or experts speaking on behalf of others.
This survey does not measure performance, productivity, or compliance.
It listens and reflects in a later article.
